The Clint’s Creations website is a way to promote my freelance work in web design and content management. I have created the Clint’s Creations website so that clients can get an idea what a content managed website has to offer. Which System do I use?

WordPress, in my opinion, is the best content management system available. It is easy to use yet versatile enough to build the most complex websites with. With many advanced plugins available from top developers, WordPress becomes a powerful tool not only for website designers but for bloggers too. There are however many platforms available and the best would be the one that meets the specific needs of the client. As long as the developer chooses a platform that produces a stable and easily maintained end product then that is sufficient. The platform must be SEO optimizable and the content must be delivered in a visually pleasing manner. With the significant changes to Google’s search engines the platform must offer the correct syntax and tagging so as to ensure the best organic page ranking is obtained.

What should I expect?

There are many expectations when a website is built. Obviously every website owner wants everyone to be looking at their website exclusively and everyone wants to be first on Google. Realistically these results are achieved by hard work and a sound website. There are many tools that developers can use like pay per click (PPC) to increase rankings and create a presence within search pages.
